Given our rich, fourth generation baking family history spanning over 95 years within our local communities, it is only fitting the R.E.V. Group of Companies are making the change to become local leaders in sustainable corporate, manufacturing, retail & logistical business practices. We aim to make sustainability a part of the way we do business both internally and externally & to encourage profitable growth from all corporate entities.
Whilst developing goals & actions to be embedded within our company, we need to ensure we encourage our customers to adopt sustainability into their own practices. In creating culture & awareness of sustainable sourcing, production, lean manufacturing & distribution we must ensure we focus increased efforts on emerging societal issues where we have unique skills & expertise to bring about meaningful change.
We need to ensure our people are passionate about sustainability, because it makes good business sense and we must make it a point of who we are.
The first step in our sustainable development was creating our 5 year strategy and to establish and define our starting point. With issues changing & developing over time, this agenda will always be a work in progress and we will work with our stakeholders to continually refine and develop our focus. Our company, staff & our customers must ensure we are committed to driving sustainable change and we as management are leaders in ensuring effective development of sustainable culture within our corporation.
